Many rooms come with application fees between $30 and $60, making it easy for landlords to find the right fit for their properties. A refundable security deposit equal to your first month's rent may be required to cover any damages during your stay. To qualify, you typically need a credit score of at least 500 and proof of steady income—about two to three times the monthly rent.
Note: If you do not meet these requirements, the landlord may raise the security deposit amount in order to facilitate approval.
A signed agreement is necessary to physically enter properties.
